Apple Devices Are Changing My Header Web Fonts  en

Author: Giulio V.

I use Arial Fonts all over my website in the body, header footer etc.

The problem I am having is when I check my website on my Iphone or on an Apple tablet the Header Fonts do not appear as Arial, it is changed to a font like Times New Roman with smaller size.
Not a good appearance at all.

It seems the Arial Fonts show up fine in the Body of my web pages but in the Header is where the Arial Fonts Are Changed.

Can anyone provide some answer to this?

Thank you, Giulio

Hi Aleksej,

Thank you for helping. Here are the attached screen captures.

The 2nd screenshot is in X5 at 320 resolution which text is sized much bigger and font chosen is Arial Bold.

But when viewed on an Apple device, Tablet or Iphone, the size and Font shows up totaly different. Red Arrows.

So why is this scaling down the font size and changing the chosen font?

In the attached photo with Red Arrows you will see the exact way it shows up on an Iphone. I am not sure if it does this on an Android phone.

Thank you for your help...

Hi Aleksej,

I am still trying to figure this out. Was this screen shot taken off an actual Mac computer?

Thank you for your support.

Yes and no.This is macOS Mojave 10.14.4 in a virtual machine. For testing sites, there should be no difference.
