Hi

I am using the ‘Hover Button’ to display pdf documents in a ShowBox window, when viewing the pdf’s in Google Chrome and MS Edge all works well, when I test webpage in Firefox the ShowBox automatically downloads the pdf’s on opening and the ShowBox remains blank.

Has anyone had the same problem and found a fix.

Kind Regards

Peter.

This is a setting question in the browser and cannot be influenced in wx5.

We don't use showbox for this, but open the link in a new window.

The browser settings are still effective.

(It > En)... even if the PDF format is not suitable for the WEB(!), ...for greater compatibility on various devices, in the ShowBox you can use the absolute URL of the PDF file, combined with GoogleDocsViewer; ... for example:
... link of your PDF file: >> http: //www.your_site.en/file_name.pdf
... ... URL string to use in the ShowBox:
https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://www.your_site.en/file_name.pdf&embedded=true

.

ciao
