Upgrade from Version 10 to new 2021 version  en

I have Version 10 and need to upgrade to the new 2021 version.  How can I save my site into a file that can just be opened directly into the new software?  I see that it is possible from Version 11 and up by exporting the file to a folder, but it does not show Version 10 as an option.

In the old version you can create an iwzip file in step 5 "Export" with the option "Export project" and try to import it in the new version. Then you have to take an intermediate step with the optimizer. You can download it here

https://www.websitex5.com/download/optimizer/1.10.0/WebSiteX5Optimizer_x86.exe

or here

https://www.websitex5.com/download/optimizer/1.10.0/WebSiteX5Optimizer_x64.exe

After the installation you import the project, the iwzip file, into the optimizer, select "no optimization" and save it again. After that, the import should work in the new version. But you have to rework a lot, because it is a big leap in version and a lot has happened in the software.

The issue that I am having is that when I "export project" from Version 10, it does not make an iwzip file.  It just saves without a zip file.  Is it possible not the entire thing is being saved that it is not zipped?

I think that is not possible. For the export of a project you have to specify the target directory. Select the target directory to which the project is to be exported. If the named directory does not exist, it will be generated automatically. During the export, a single, compressed archive file is created in the target directory, which has the same name as the project and the extension .IWZIP. For example, if your project is called "MyProject", the file MyProject.iwzip will be generated.

I was choosing the wrong export.  I was exporting the Website to disk instead of Exporting the Project.  I got it now.  Thank you.
