I want to have 2 sections on my website. Each section say has 3 pages each. ie Section A - Page 1, 2  and 3. Section B - Page 4, 5  and 6. When I am on Page 1,2 or3 I want the Top Menu to only show Pages 1, 2 or 3. When I am on 4,5 or 6 I want the top menu to only show 4, 5 or 6 at the top menu. Is this possible and how is it done? I am on X5 Evo. Thank you

The menu is displayed in its own object, which can also be positioned anywhere on the pages. And a separate starting point of the menu can be defined for each menu object. You have to arrange the pages of the individual sections in levels and assign these levels to the respective menu object.

Split your project into 2 projects.

The second project with page 4,5 and 6 you place in a subfolder.

In the project (1-2-3) you make levels for 4.5 and 6 anf for therse levels you link to the sub-project.

So - you have 2 projects with 6 menu items. In the first project menu item 1,2 and 3 are "real" menu items.

The 4,5 and 6 is links to the menus 4,5 and 6 in the other project - and vice versa.

My suggestion will always show 6 menu items. So it is not the solution for you.

I forgot you only wanted to see 3 menu items. I am not sure how you then would be able to come from the one to the other. Maybe you could tell some more of what you want and what it should be used for.

Thank you Franz-Josef H.Moderator. That method works. Putting the Menu Object on each page instead of the Template Top works for my purposes.
