Derek, do these products never display or if you wait long enough do they eventually display? Also, is this a new problem that recently occurred or has it been an issue evident since the products were added? If your site is online perhaps you could provide a link and identify a problem product for us.

I think you may have misread my message. The website is fine. Regarding the product page there is a product category that I want to hide for a while so that the products in that category do not show on the website. I do not want to delete the products and then add them back later. How do I temporarily hide a product category.

In the product catalogue object you can dictate which items are visible, but sadly I do not believe this is so when using the ecommerce search.

I have marked your post for incomedia's attention because I know this issue was raised when the search object was first released and because I have not used the shop functionality recently, if there have been advances I am not aware of them.

Thanks, I have had to remove 40 products for the time being and at some point in the future will have to manually add them again. This is a real pain.

I unfortunately have to confirm that it isn't possible to exclude some products from the search. I had already reported this forwarded, but I will be happy to report it again.
