Shipping for individual items

I am in the process of setting up a shopping basket and I want to allow the customer to pick up in store or add to their basket the cost of shipping but the problem is my items vary so much in size and weight that I need to do them individually.
I have tried with one item but when I go to another it has added the same shipping cost when it needs a higher price.
Is there anywhere I can add different shipping costs to each product.

You can use the weight or the total shipping costs to enter various shipping costs, which are automatically taken into account.
This can be different for collections than it is for shipping.
Since the weight is not displayed in the shop, you can also include the size of the products by weight in the correct cost category.

This does not help me. My stock ranges for Antique Georgian Glass to a Anitque Grandfather Clock, so each item needs a different price for shipping.

A workaround is to calculate a shipping price average and include it into your product prices ... And stay with a same shipping price for all products.

Not possible.
A Georgian Glass will cost approximately £20.00 to send
A Grandfather Clock could cost anywhere between £200 to £400 to delivery
Very disappointed that you cannot add individual shipping costs to each product.
Oups... obviously here not possible to use my workaround... it's a pity.

Yes please. It is not very helpful if you cannot put a seperate shipping cost to each item.
