Hello everyone,

When I loging to my website control panel at www.mywebsite.com/admin and click on SEO, it gives me a login to analytics. When I enter my login name and password and click login - it tells me that "Your server does not support this feature. " What feature should my server support?

Below is info from my website test

PHP Version: 5.2.17 PASS

Session support PASS

Server public folder path PASS

MySQL settings PASS

It's a feature to allow you (The owner) to access/login to the internet from your server. It's no biggy it's more of a security issue methinks.....

This is where the SEO takes you to login:

www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

This is for verifying your website in Google Search Engine....

Your website is not showing anyhow???

Well, my website is showing in google webmaster as usual if I go there directly to

www.google.com/webmasters/tools/

I use webmaster regulary.

However if I click on the SEO tab, SEO tab just displays the message that "your server does not support this feature". It is kind of disappointing that the only thing it suppose to do is to send you to google webmaster website.

I still wonder what kind of server feature is not supported by my host (I have fairly expensive host and they support just about everything)

Why have expensive host? When you are not using anything unusual...... You do not need to purchase business facilities.......

Hello Max,

have you verified of have inserting the correct url of your website on the service of Google WebMaster Central? Make sure with your provider you have activated the php CURL on your web space.

The error SEO - not supported by server can depend from different reasons.

Hello Luca,

thank you for responding.

1. have you verified of have inserting the correct url of your website on the service of Google WebMaster Central?

I use google master all the time with my web page so I suppose the problem is not my google master set up.

2. Make sure with your provider you have activated the php CURL on your web space.

I will ask my provider and will report back. It would be nice if Incomedia would mention somewhere that CURL library is required for that feature.

3. The error SEO - not supported by server can depend from different reasons.

I am sorry. I do not understand. Can you be a little more specific. What should I check for?

2. I just spoke with my hosting company support. They say they fully support and have it enabled on any of their accounts. PHP CURL version 7.15.5

What is the next step?

Thanks.

Hello Max,

Maybe the function curl is active on your web space, but is not configured properly. The test page of the admin takes the data from Google Webmaster Central. If the server doesn't support function curl can get this error. Unfortunately, this depends on the configuration server.
