Trying to paste Excel data

Trying to copy/paste a few cells from an excel spreadsheet as static data. I am currently on a trial version and am not a very experienced X5 user.
I've tried a text object, which did bring the data over, but it is not formated (color, shading, etc.). Tried table, but everything is posted to one box (cell). Not sure what else to try.
Also tried using my normal Excel 2007 and the Excel Online version.
Any assistance will be appreciated,

Phil, rather than copying the data in have you considered linking a google sheets spreadsheet into your webpage?

I do not quite understand why you keep making new posts about this issue.
The best is to keep all in one thread.
Have you considered that you can keep the data in your original Excel - import the sheet to a (published)GoogleDocs document and then it will be on the net and wit all the colors, shading and so.
As I remember it, you had it to function: Could you explain to us what is keeping you from using the obvious solution?
Another solution could be to print to a PDF from Excel and then publish the PDF on the net. But using PDF should only be the solution if nothing else can be used.
