Emailed Promo Code Makes Product Cost More!!!  en

So following on from the previous discussions I have been forced to raise and pursue with ICM staff, about the lack of care for exsisting customers. I see that twice I have recieved a promo code "LH8-7S2-S" for 20% a FULL package of version 9. As a customer, which I am sure many of us are, who has purchased PREVIOUS versions.

What incentive is this exactly??

This code does NOT work on upgrades, but in fact makes the cost go UP from 49.99 EUROS to 55 EUROS...Interesting promotion for keeping people on board, charage more for an upgrade than the upgrade intially costs...

Am I too assume that there is a "secret hidden" promo code for exsisting customers who spent money with you previously, or is this maybe yet another failing to look after exsisting customers...

I look forward to your comments, which I would assume will be in 72 hours after this promotion has finished!!!! As I see it I can get an upgrade for 49.99 EUROES - with the promo of 20% off, making an upgrade price of 39.99 EIUROS!!! Lets see what joys and care this brings!!

OK In fairness I have got this to work, although it has meant I have had to go around the houses to get it. By altering the string in the URL, it seems to have worked, but I see nowhere to close this thread, so I guess it will have to tay open.....

Ho Hum, guess its reading material for others that may be experiencing the same issues!!!!

Dear Paul,

good morning! The special offer has been sent to our old customers and to our new. Those who did not have Evo 8 could purchase the full version with 20% off and those who do have it can purchase the upgrade with 20% off.
I presume you received the offer by email, didn't you receive this http://bit.ly/zZ87Vb ?

I have just tested the email now and by clicking on the offer it brings me directly in the Incomedia Store with the correct price. Could you please tell me why you had to change the URL and what was wrong with it?

I'm sorry you have had to go through all this trouble!

If you wish to close your post, you simply mark the answer you prefer as ''correct'' and it will automatically close.
Have a nice day!

I had to go into the URL, and take out the email activate coding, then, re-enter the website cookie clear, with that, I entered the above promo code in the checkout, and it accpeted it.

However, I have just gone to activate it, and it is telling me the following:

Activation Error :332

ATTENTION: The licence Key enetered is an upgrade from another program or an ealier version. The account associated to your email is not enabled to install this program.

Please note, my account DOES have the licence for V8 Evo - so why am I being told it will not actiavte!!!!

The account email used isnibbler666{at}live.com which is the same as the one associated to my account!!!!

OK, so I have just done it with an account that I no longer have, and changed on the profile of my account where my licence is stored, and it accepted it....WHY!!!!!

Isnt the point of changing a profile/account email to be up to date and have your licence etc stored on that account!!!

I ask that ALL my details are sucessfully transfered from my OLD non exsistent email address of nibbler666{at}live.co.uk to the live.com address above...

Please confirm when this is done, otherwise I will simple seek a full refund. Nothing changes here, I give you guys the benefit of doubt, and still its wrong!!!!

INTERESTING....

WHAT A JOKE, I JUST CHANGED MY EMAIL ADDRESS ON MY ACCOUNT/PROFILE TO ONE THAT "USED" TO EXSIST AND IT WORKED!!!

STILL NOT TO WORRY, I AM STILL SEEKING A REFUND, THIS IS WAY TO UNSTABLE AND INSECURE FOR MY LIKING, IF YOU HAVE TO MANIPULATE YOUR OWN ACCOUNT TO GET A PRODUCT TO WORK, IT TRUELY DOESNT SAY TOO MUCH FOR THE SECURITY OF THE DETAILS OF SAID ACCOUNT!!!

REMOVE THIS LICENCE BY ALL MEANS, AS SOON AS MY REQUEST WITH CLEVERBRIDGE FOR THE SAID REFUND HAS BEEN APPROVED!!!

ALSO IN CASE AGAIN THE PLATFORM YOU GUYS SEEM TO BE SO PROUD OF DOESNT WORK, DO !!!!!!! NOT !!!!!!!! SEND ME ANY MORE PROMO OR ADVERTSING EMAIL, THEY WILL NOW BE FORWARDED TO THE BLACKLIST FOLDERS WHICH IN TURN ARE FORWARDED TO THE LIVE TEAM...

Dear Paul,

you changed your registration email therefore this could be the reson why it did not work at the beginning. Infact the error message you received stated that ''The licence Key entered is an upgrade from another program or an ealier version. The account associated to your email is not enabled to install this program''.

You wrote four different posts in a very short amount of time. We guarantee an answer on this social help center from 24 to 48 hours after you have opened the post therefore we did not have the chance to answer before hand.

I apologyze for waisting your time and am ready to help you if I may.

Now that your program is correctly installed and registered please let me know if you are still interested in the refund and confirm it if possible.
Thank you.

24-48 hours to make a program work....??? for real????

I paid for the program, it should ermmmm work maybe???

As to the email, the OLD email i used does not exsist anymore, hasnt for several months, thats why I UPDATED the email in my account settings. So whos fault is it that your system doesnt recognise that change. Myself, as the customer, should not have to mess about "manioulating" the details in order to make the software work. This is something that YOUR system should recognise!!!!

Apologies are far as ICM staff go, are, as they always have been very weak and insincere. Sorry to be so harsh, but really!!! I buy software AGAIN from you, and its telling me it cant be activated, and I am expected to repost to this thread and wait upto 48 hours before I get a non sequential reply, and then if I have further comment, what another potential 48 hours...customer service this is clearly proved again not too be!!!

Before I decide for a final time if a refund is the way forward, please do feel free to try and explain to me, WHY your system doesnt recognise UPDATED account and profile information!!! Please do NOT treat me like a complete novice, I have likely been building websites long before Incomedia was even a dream!!!

I dont want apologies, they are worthless, I want answers....too much for you guys to handle, no problem, just let me know!!!!

You see your point :

"Infact the error message you received stated that ''The licence Key entered is an upgrade from another program or an ealier version. The account associated to your email is not enabled to install this program''.

is actually very mute. The account associated with the email is very much correct. The email I have on my account is live.com, yet it didnt recognise that, despite that my V8 licence is under live.com.....

My licence was ONLY recognised using an email account that has both been changed to a newer one, and in fact does not even exsist...

Am I to assume that if I tried to log in under the old email that the software recognised it would bring up ALL my account details and licences?? I am thinking not - in fact all it does is tells me that NO ACCOUNT EXSISTS!!!! Shocker wouldnt ya say!!!

Apologise...I want answers.....I want to know that you actually know your own systems!!! I want to know that 3 months down the line, I am not gonna get stung with a techical issue that you guys "forgot to mention"..I want to know that I am not going to be sitting with a website offline, ciosting me money, because your support cant respond in a manner which paying customers deserve...I want to know that you really are sorry....dig into the purse, and show me how sorry you really are!!.. or course not, that would mean standing up and making a public apology, which of course ICM cannot and will not do!!!

ANSWERS...Thats what I seek, the truth, no nonsense, no trying to assume I am dumb as a box of rocks. Straight honest answers!!!!

Dear Paul,

in order to install correctly your upgrade from Evo 8 to Evo 9 you have to use the same address as the one you used to register Evo 8.
For Evo 8 you used @live.co.uk then you changed email and you tryed to used @live.com to install Evo 9. You can not change your email when reigistering your new upgrade. You need to ask us to confirm it for you or else, as you can immagine, anyone could purchase the upgrade and register it!

It does not take 24 to 48 hours for the program to work, this is immediate. We assure an answer on this social help center from 24 to 48 hours after you have opened a post.

This morning we received  your refund request from Cleverbridge therefore we have accepted it.

Thank you!
