Unable to upload sites after latest WebSite X5 update 2021.5.3.

Complains about write permission on server, but if "ignore" selected, it works. Why is this?

Site is http://www.ontheradio.org

Only versions 10 and 11 are assigned to your profile and not the latest 2021.5.3. Apparently the send scripts are no longer up-to-date with the V11, so that uploading is no longer possible. alternatively, you could run the option export to a drive in step 5 and upload the generated directories and files with an ftp program, for example filezilla or wsftp.

Keith, your current website has been generated in 2021.5.3 so please either log in with the correct account or update your profile to reflect the current version you are using so we can offer the most correct answers.

Perhaps a screen shot of the error message would assist us? The most likely problem could be when the url does not match the destination directory?

Apologies. Now logged in with correct account.

Everything was working until the latest update. URL and all other information is correct. I will continue to use the "ignore" option until the issue is fixed, as I suspect others may encounter the problem.

Hello Keith

This warning specifically that appears is related to a particular folder with writing permissions that you might have on your server.

It is used for things like storing comments if you're saving comments in a file, but not for much else. If you click "Ignore", the website will work just fine in most cases

Alternatively, verify the folder that the error is indicating and consult your hosting as to how to grant writing permissons to that folder specifically

I remain available here

Thank you

Stefano

Thank you Stefano. The folder does have full write permissions and the path is correct. It's not a problem now as I know that "ignore" will work.
