Upload stops at 40% and freezes  en

First, I was using the Microsoft OneDrive for data and that has been a recent problem - so I did a backup and transfer it to another computer.  I am attempting to do a full upload to a new directory on my website, it goes quickly to 40% and has frozen there for hours.  I did make changes to pages before the backup and transfer, I have had it take a while before, due to many page changes, but now doesn't seem to move at all.  Any tips or help, please.

It is locked up at "Preparing your Website for the upload"

Try a restart of x5, make sure firewall and virusscanner does not interfere.
Try also a different time, maybe there is an issue at the host?

By "new upload" what do you mean?
Have you copied your projects in the project folder that you have saved in Onedrive to a drive? This will not work like this. If so, you need to create backup files of your project (iwzip file) and then change the project path in the settings and then import your projects. With your method there will be problems with the paths and that's why it gets stuck during the upload because it wants to cache somewhere where there is no path anymore.

I did not copy files, I opened up the program, and did a backup.  Took the backup to the new computer.  Also, both computers lock up the same percentage when attempting upload.  Do you think the onedrive is the problem and did not send all the required files?

I also just opened up an old backup from 9/3/2021.  I didn't make any page changes and just attempted upload, locked up at 65%.  These errors are also coordinated with the recent Website X5 Pro update.

I also setup my WebSite X5 hosting to upload there, no such luck.  Locked up at 59%.

Thomas, if the project is in onedrive folder or a folder being synchronised by one drive this has been known to cause issues in the past.

I would move or copy your incomedia folder to a directory local on your hard drive, change the default location in WX5 and then see if the problem is resolved.

Onedrive is a great place to copy your iwzip file to for good backup.

Another update from me:  I transferred the files to my hard drive and used another program for FTP and it worked, other than permissions.  So for some reason, the Website X5 FTP isn't working.  AGain, this started with the latest WebSite PRO update last week.

Update:  I went back to Pro software version 2021.4.  I successfully opened up my file, from the One Drive.  Did a full backup from the One Drive, took almost 6 hours.  Then I saved and deleted unused web pages from my site to reduce the size and just clean things up.  Saved, checked for errors, upload freezes at 40%.  I have been a customer of WebSite X5 for over 10 years, bought every new license and every upgrade, well over $1000 dollars and I am not receiving any help with this problem.

I also just opened up another site I've built, had slight changes, it uploaded fast with no issues.

Thomas, are you still working out of the one drive folder? If so I believe this is the cause. If not, please advise.
