Duncan, the reason your menu does not become a hamburger menu is that you have made it big enough at each resolution to show all the words. At the resolution you only want to see the burger menu (I assume mobile) simply drag the handles to roughly the size of the burger menu (if you go to small you will see the burger cut off) and place where you want to see it.

I assume this is a work in progress because the logo is way to big for the displayable area on anything except desktop. Again this can be fixed by dragging the handles of the image to a suitable size (or if it can't be reasonably displayed at mobile resolution, simply hide the object for that and lesser resolutions.

The same applies to your details object (I assume it is a text box?). This box is actually in front of the menu at mobile resolution (so is the logo) which means the menu cannot be selected by the user (there is an option to move an object back or forward).

Duncan, you must make the burger menu wider, the line wrap is not readable

Or use the optional overlay menu instead.
