W5 Steal system resources and slows my pc 
Author: Glen S.I have downloaded W5 from Ashampoo andinstalled iton my PC
Firstly:
System specs
Windows 11
Gigabyte A320 Am4 Motherboard
AMd A950CPU (3.5 Ghz)
32GB DDR4 ram
500Gb Sata SSD harddisk
70 Mpbs Broadband
every time I load W5 my pc Slows down and W5 isdifficult to close
oncew it is closed the PC Is very slow to use and can onlybe recovered to it usual very fast speed after a re-start
Secondly:
when I request the Upgrade to W5 Evonoe email is sent to my inbox with a linkto download the trial
I have checked on My Web Mail to see if it has been classed as spam no sign of the email anywhere
I first tried this over an hour agoand stil lno email has been sent
My opinion is that W5 has major issues with Pc Resources and does or give them back on closing the program but this does not answer the email problem unless the link from the 15 daytrial button fails to work

Glen, have you installed the entry level WX5 Go or some other version? I am not aware of any issues with current versions of WX5 that would cause the type of problems you are experiencing.
You can look in your profile (top right this page) and you will find download. Here you can download the latest version you are licensed to use and I recommend you uninstall your existing installation and then do a clean install. Along with the download folder you will find the license keys folder if you need those details.
Since you obtained WX5 through Ashampoo you may be wise to check for other "gifts" you may have received at time of installation (Control Panel, Programs and Features).
