Associated Domain ( username.websitex5.me) not active

I just uploaded my files to my associated domain ( username.websitex5.me). Then I clicked clicked on Customise Domain to see how this option my work, but I do not have my own domain so clicked off.
When I went to make a change, and export, but I am unable because it staes my domain is not active because I have not connected to any second-level domain.
How can I activate my associated domain again? The control panel shows it is active!

The message you see states that you linked no second-level domain, but the export should still work fine
Please try and start the export by using the Start button on the top-right corner. The export should start
