Can't open website project. Help!

My computer crashed and re started whilst i was working on a new website using updated WebSiteX5 Evo 2022.1.2. Now when I try to open the project I receive error message it has not been closed correctly, do you want to continue? Yes. [An error occured while openeing the file. The file is corrupt or invalid.] Please tell me there's hope of restoring it or will I have to completely start again?

Try highlighting the project and select backup restore?

No luck, I still have all the files, I tried copy and pasting them onto a new project but it didn't work properly. At least I can copy and paste my text and I will remember to make a back up sooner next time
Brian, the ONLY true backup is to create an iwzip file.
Go to step 5 and select export the project (there is no need to include preview or backup)
You can rename/append the date at time of creation so you can keep multiple fall back positions.
The built in backup (down arrow next to save) is not reliable because it does not backup all required files (only those deemed most likely to fail).
