I uploaded my website and it refuses to render online. I was told that your software puts parentheses in file names in java script (23)(1). these are NOT acceptable to any modern server. I need a fix for this as Ive invested loads of money in your software over the years. Why is it rendering (*). Its a flaw in your software that needs to be fixed.

Greg, is this a recent occurance with the most recent update/s or has it been a long running problem perhaps caused by 3rd party code?

Its the css files that are being renamed. I pasted a file name for you to see Also it seems like the side bar generates them too.

I can post a link to the entire project if you like and you can see for yourself
Hello Greg
It seems very peculiar that some of this could happen
I would like to ask you to proceed this way. What if you try to delete all of the files for your project currently online and then upload the entire website again from scratch from the software?
Can you do this and let me know if only the correct files are uploaded then?
Please try this out and keep me posted here
Thank you

I did that several times due to the vast ammount of confusion and frustration. Could it be making parentheses because of image file names?
I found the jpg file names are sortta like the folloing: 113249_121129.jpg
Im renaming ALL of my graphics to simple names like Sculp_01.jpg
is that correct?
thanks

I have discovered and successfully uploades a 100% working website. the problem was the file names so I renamed them with no spaces: graphic 2.jpg to graphic_2.jpg and it workd like a charm. the css still generated som parentheses but thaat was for the css side menu which I removed and made one just using text. It all worked like a charm! thank you all so much for answering my Questions.
The DEV team might want to look at the way css renders tho, as it does produce unwanted charectors.
Thanks again, what a great online community.
the website is upnawayballoons.com
