Yes - with one license you are allowed to make installations on 2 PC. It does no matter where in the world the PC's is.

Keep in mind that it is important that you make sure to save the project as iwzip files when you hav made changes to a project and want to "shift" to the other PC

Hi Costas,

I confirm you can use WebSite X5 with the same licence on 2 PCs, no matter where they are located.

As far as generating an iwzip file is concerned, here's how you do it:

1. Start the software

2. Open the project

3. Go to Step 5

4.  Select the "Export the project" option.

Thanks! Kind regards.

Dear Elisa,

thank you for your help.

I made as you mention , but I did not find my Backup file (type .iwzip) when I search in the Website X5-Pro folder. Neither the name of the backup.  I found all my project names in the  Website X5-Pro folder. See attached. That could mean the backup is not saved !!!  As I said I do not see any confirmation button for ,,export '' action.

Something is wrong . and maybe not me.

I would like to send you a  1-2 minutes video. Please propose that ( one minute video) to your collaborator, chiefs from INcomedia to add this option in the help center.

I want to ask everybody's opinion about this proposal with one minute video - to help to solve problems.

As you see I need at least 2-3 answers to solve one problem.  I lost much time with just simple questions but very necessary for me.

You choose 5 and then "export and optimize project"

Then you see this :

You can check the boxes if you want to save also the backup-files and the preview in the iwzip.

THEN you press the >  and then the file will be exported to where you have specified.

That's it.

You then have an iwzip file that can be imported as a project - on the same computer or on another computer.

It is a good idea to save the project as iwzip when major changes has been made to a project.

Keep the iwzip-file (or a copy) on a USB-stick.

This is the best way to make a backup.

The backup-files is basically not backup-files, unless you save a copy on another location.

The backup files can be used if you have made changes and find out that the changes should never have been made. You can then "go back" to a previous "stage". If you have made no previews yet, you can simply close the project without saving and then no changes is made to the project.

It is a bit tricky and maybe not easy to understand how the backup functions.

Using the iwzip as backup and as exchange-file between computers is easier to understand and is much more reliant.
