Hi Paul!

Credits are the "currency" used on our Marketplace and they can be used to purchase extra Templates or Objects, like in this case. Here you can find more information about them: https://market.websitex5.com/en/credits

Thanks! Kind regards.

You could try this: https://pubhtml5.com/

It creates html from a PDF - the html you can upload to your server.

Correction:

With the free version you can create a flipbook from a PDF, and then upload to to the pubhtml5-server. You will then be given html code to embed the flip-book on a page in your X5v project.

Or

You can upload the PDF directly to the pubhtml5-server, and then you do not need to install software. The software is only needed if you have a paid version and want to create animations, links etc. in the flip-book.

Thank you all for your valuable contributions. I have a Flip Creator. So, it is possible to embed a flip-book on a page in my x5v project. Could you explain how, John S?

Thank you.

"I have a Flip Creator. So, it is possible to embed a flip-book on a page in my x5v project." - if you can export a book to HTML, then yes, you can. To do this, use the HTML code object. The HTML code itself can be inserted on the first HTML tab, and styles and additional files can be included on the second tab.

If the result from your flip-creator is a html-file, you can integrate it in a page as Aleksej tell - but a maybe more simple solution could be to just make an iframe and then let the html-page be the "source" for the iframe.

This will also make it possible to have extra flip-books on the same page by making a html-object for additional flipbooks, where you have the same iframe as target for the other flip-books(html-pages).

As an example of this, you can see this page: https://www.bramminginfo.dk/egnsmuseet.html

Near the bottom You will find an iframe and below that is links that by clicking will "fill" the iframe with other content.

Another way of doing it, could be like on this page: https://www.bramminginfo.dk/storkesoen.html

Here is a dropdown that when clicked will fill the iframe above with the video chosen.

The easiest solution is that you simply make a link to the html-page with your flip-book.

Hope this makes sense.

To have good "loading time" for your page, then it could be a good idea to have an image in a resolution that fits the size of the iframe. And then make this image as the initial source for the iframe. Then the page will load fast and only by clicking a link, the iframe will be filled with flip-book content. If it is rather small flip-books maybe it will not be a problem.

If you choose to make it with normal links, you could let the link open in a showbox. This should not affect the loading time for the page, even if it has more links(flip-books)

There seem to be a problem with the connection between X5 and your server. How does it function if you use FileZilla to make a connection.

Also - is it onlo the uploading or can you see the files on the server with the X5 FTP?
