Apparently Website 5x Pro does not allow for taking the user to PayPal for payment before the order confirmation. This is not acceptable and will not work for my business. How do I cancel my order and get a refund on this software?

Hi Christy,
thank you for getting in touch.
Please consider that with the Pro edition of the software, when you choose the Send data to a Database option you can define what kind of e-mails you want to send to the customers before and after the payment is complete, namely in the Sending order section. For instance, you can define the Order Confirmation e-mail to be sent only after the payment is complete. Here you can find more information.
I really hope this helps. Kind regards.

Hi, Elisa,
I do have Send to Database chosen and have set up the Sending Order section to send the confirmation email after payment is complete, however when I did a test order, the program is not sending the customer to PayPal to pay *before* a message pops up that the order is complete. I am at work right now but I will send a screenshot after I get home tonight.
Thank you,
Christy

Elisa,
Attached please find a screenshot of what I am referring to. This screen comes up stating the order is complete - but there was no option for the customer to pay before this screen which will undoubtedly cause confusion. I have never shopped an online site where I did not have to pay before my order was confirmed. Also, this screen is showing a "Pay Later" option when I have not checked the "Show installment payment option" on the Order Management screen.
I don't think this web site software is going to work for my needs. Clearly it was intended for a different type of business but I could not have known that until I started working with it. I would like to just continue using WebSite 5x Evo which I purchased last year and get a refund on the Pro version, please.
Thank you,
Christy
Hello Christy
Thank you for the clarification, I understand what you mean now.
Unfortunately, that page will always be displayed when the order has been completed because it serves the purpose of both letting the user know that the administrator received it, and it also serves the purpose of sending an email to the user (if configured this way) to let him pay for the order at a later time
If you do not want this, I can only advise trying to check here in Step 1 :
In this section, you can change all default texts that the software generates. This way, you can change the text Order Completed to something else, thus avoiding the user thinking he can safely leave the website then
What if you try this out? Can this work for you?
I remain available here
