Hi,

WebsiteX5 is hosting my website.

I wanted to check how to use Database viewer. So i imported a table into the database (phpMyAdmin) called 'sort' and wanted to show this on a testpage on my website.

Problem is i can't seem to find the right settings in Database viewer to do so successfully.

Plz help.

I'll try to attach some screenshots.

Patrick,

Check the needed info for you database -if you use x5- here: https://hosting.websitex5.com/panel/

With this data in the database viewer it should work.

That's just it,

i don't suppose they are correct, otherwise it would work i presume. But i can't seem to find the correct settings. That's why i started this post.

I suppose username and PW are those from the last attachment... ? Also Tablename is rathet straight forward.

But somehow i keep using the wrong Host Name and Database Name... I think?

Help!

===========

The table must be created with WebsiteX5... the easiest way is from the contact form by writing to DB

After it has been created even with only one record... this table will be readable by the DBViewer...

And of course after you have added a record via the contact form, you can import your data via PHPMYAdmin

If you created the table yourself with PHPmyAdmin... it cannot work.
