Server asking for Password???

Upgraded from v.8 to v.9.0.6.1775 made some changes and uploaded. Since that moment, the server is asking for authentication to open the ControlPanel!?!? Not a good Idea, or is it? Uploading / Overwriting with v.8 fixes the problem. Can I please get my money back? I'm not your guinea pig. Regards Wolf

Hi! I'm sorry, I don't understand what is happening there, no one is trying to use you as a tester. The issue you are having could be dew to your server.
What control panel are you talking about? Your server control panel? Could you please attach a screenshot of this? I will try to help you solve the issue as quickly as possible if you give me more info.

Hi, here the documentation of the problem email from my server help, and two index files of either version.
The second problem is that the main menu is visible while testing in v9, but does not appear on the website, only the area of the menu is click sensitiv.
I will have to go on with v8 this weekend, since v9 does not work.....

Hi! Could you please kindly upload your website with Evo 9 and give me your website link? You should go into the following page www.yourebsitename.com/admin and add your username and password. You have set them in Step 4 - Access Management, in the Admin acoount.

Just uploaded another trial website, started in v9, and the same problem happens....
This website has to go online this weekend as well, v9 doesn't seem to be a good choice.

I have spoken to them and I can confirm what I wrote in the first post, the issue is due to your server that isn't able to create files therefore it is not able to upload your website style CSS. This is the reson why your website isn't perfect online.
In order to solve this issue you can export with filezilla your project.
I just wish to underline the fact that the issue is not caused by WebSite X5 Evo 9.

uplodet with FileZilla, it does not resolve the issue!!!
Version 8 works flawless. But what shall I do with v.9? Cannot use it!

v.8 works (upload via FileZilla or via X5 v.8) - v.9 does not, this logicaly tells us that the problematic lies in the contense of the upload. Please find somebody who can solve this issue with the expression "menu" (see previous infos I sent).

Hi! What version of IE do you have on your computer? you need to have at least IE 7 for the correct function of your Evo 9.
Why doesn't it work? Do you receive error messages? Please give me all the info you can.
