Hi Christen,

If you're talking about the effect occuring when you click on the side menu, that effect is called "Vertical accordion menu" in v9. See page 128 of the manual for explanations.

By the way, you're V8 site is running on version 8.0.15. You should consider upgrading to 8.0.16 before tempting to convert that site from v8 to v9, if you're planning to do so. Converting a site from an obsolete version might cause a lot of problems.

Thanks for answering, and i allready have V9, the page i was refering to i use v8 to editing on. I was just looking for the same menu that v8 had, because of another project i use V9 to edit. But ok, i was kinda hoping it was possible to us the vertical accordion menu in the horizontal styled menu..

I think you are missing the original poster's question.  There was a feature that is no longer there in v9.  In the "Advanced Settings" the item used to be called "SubMenu".  It is now called "PageMenu".  There, you had "Style" where you could change the style of the initial submenu on the page and also a submenu to the submenu.  The 2nd layer is completely missing.  I have the same exact problem.  I imported my site from 8 to 9 and that function is simply broken.

Well, I had same problem and I don't see how can make drop down menu to work for page menu. In manual at page 128 all informations are for configuration, and it seems that drop down menu only work for main menu of the site not for page menu... At least I can't find that setting. Too bad, because in 8 this seems to work so well. I see I'm not the only one with the same problem, but Incomedia's representatives doesn't understand us. Frown

Hi Martin,

the Drop Down menu is only for the sub level menu.

If you need to use in the principal menu you can add a jquery menu, use the HTML object and insert the code.
