I want my menu option of 'PRICES', when clicked on, to show a sign-up form, so they leave me an email address before they get instant access to the 'PRICES' page.

I'm struggling to see how this can be done with WebsiteX5.

Can anyone help please?

Kind regards

John

You can make the pages where the prices can be seen as protected. This way a user has to log in to see the prices.

And before they will be able to log in, they have (once) to register which will give you their email.

Thanks John S, but that's not the user experience I want to create.

A good web designer doesn't need to force email addresses before quoting their prices.

Hi John,

as John S. said, you should set a page as password-protected, so that the user has to log in to access it and see its contents. If you want the user to enter e-mail just once and then have limitless access to the protected page without having to log in, I fear this function isn't available in the software, I am sorry about this.

Alternatively, you could set up a contact form, so potential customers can fill in the information about the website they would like you to design, and you can provide them with a quotation.

Thanks! Kind regards.
