The web hosting providers has the tools phpmyadmin and PuTTY for exporting and importing the database, see the web hosting provider's customer area and support.

Se i dati del dB sono quelli nel progetto sincronizzato con i dati online...

a mio parere non occorre fare nulla, tranne cambiare nel progetto i dati del DB, ma attendi lo STAFF per conferma... 

If the dB data are those in the project synchronized with the online data...

in my opinion you don't need to do anything except change the DB data in the project, but wait for STAFF to confirm...

If you have access to the phpMyAdmin panel, you can export the whole database or single tables in SQL format.

After this operation you have all the data to transfer the data to the new database.

It would be great if that were true. It would be more convenient if it kept the offline desktop version synschronised.

You will have to export data from one DB to the other with the functionality that @Daniel or @Gabriele have already indicated to you
