Beta testing problem shopping cart payments  en

Hi,

I have a webshop ( made from scratch in V9 ), had a PHP programmor write a script specially for website x5 V9 and V8 to accept Ideal payments ( Netherlands ).

This worked all fine for months.

After the update 1775 however this happened:

After thourough testing of the script itself, the hosts ( did testing on 6 different hosts ) I found out, that it only occurs when one had the webshop open earlier in his computer and browser ( cashe memory ). When one does the test for the first time, no problem there. Try this a second time and you get the error message "invalid checkout".

Remove first all cach and cookies, no problems.

After more testing, I found out that if I first uncheck the ideal payment box, ( that is remembered in the cache memory ) then check it back on, the ideal payment goes without a problem.

I also reproduced this ( same ideal client, coding, script etc ) but now in a webshop made with V8 ( and here the ideal payments can be repeated as often as we like, NO PROBLEMS ).

As this caused no problem for months, and no problems recreated in V8, things all start to point out to some problem with v9 ( after latest update? ).

Yesterday I did the new Beta update and most of the problems seem to be resolved:

I did the Beta test and the problem seems to be as good as solved now.

However only in IE on some computers still get the " invalid checkout", others dont....??

Yet they all remember the cache memory, and some do well others not.

Any idea how this can ben fixed? It should work in all browsers and all computers, no matter what settings they have. Before the update, there was in fact no problem in none of the browsers regarding the computers that where used for testing, so there is still something not right, but what?Undecided

Just for the record, after the Beta update all of the following browsers do well on every computer we tested on ( total of 5 + mobile phones and iPad ):

Firefox

Opera

Chrome

Safari

Only IE gives the invalid checkout on 2 of the 5 computers here.

in IE, reset the cache and retry to access to the site.

try to access to the site in a new pf for the first one, and retry a second time.

If you would to tests, please put test in the order, so the client knows its only a test and not a real order.

Restting the cache and deleting cookies helps, but once you order again and don't clear the cache the problem is back. Strange because after I published with the Beta this problems seems to be completely fixed on most of the computers and all the other browsers. Still the owner of the webshop ( our client ) had a costumer calling him on monday ( so after the Beta publication ) saying he got the "invalid checkout" message.

After he removed his cookies, he could do the ideal payement.

But it should work without clients first always having to clear their cache  ofcours.

Before 1775 that was the case in all browsers and every computer so...

i test with the IE and work correctly, work correctly for the first access and second access. Try to test it with a new project (re export it).

Hi Riccardo,

I did what you suggested:

Removed the project from the Beta versions list

Imported it back in, then published again.

Unfortunally, the problems stays.

2 of our computers still have the same issue after remembering the cookies + some customers of this webshop too.

What can cause this?

i test with IE and work correctly, are sure you have deleted all file of your site in your webspace before the export?
