View Counter On Blog Posts

In a future update, could we get a counter added to blog posts? It would be helpful to see statistics on just how many people view my blog posts on a daily and continuous basis. I have stats on my website hosting, but it's a little foggy trying to decipher the views on idividual blog posts. I know in the "Admin" page I can see comments (if I enable them) but I would like to see a view counter there as well.
Thanks.

There is a WebSite X5 Analytics, but it only lists the number of views of blog/index.php and not views of individual blog posts, see

However, I don't use Google Analytics, so I can't say much about it.

Thanks Daniel. I have Google Analytics and I also have AWStats on my website hosting. Plus I can view realtime visitor information. I think Google Analytics may be the best to provide a total number of visitors per blog, I need to check my GA and see if it shows anything beyond the blog/index.php page.

years ago I asked for the 'show most read articles' widget ...
is closely related to what you are asking for ...

That would be a good statistic also. I can sort of get the numbers via Google Analytics although it's a bit cryptic.
