I have moved to starlink which seems to have solved the export to the internet issue but my external links are not working still. When I click on the enrol now button, nothing happens. My site now is https://testsite.pnddistribution.com

Graeme, can you provide the link the button should go to? Is it a label on your webpage, a page within your website or a page online? If it is a page online, try selecting it to open in a new window (not popup or showbox)

@Esahc ..: The Firefox browser shows this code in the "Inspector" when I place the mouse arrow on the button and press the Q key.

<button type="button" id="imObjectButton_08_button" onclick="x5engine.utils.imPopUpWin('https://pnddistribution.com/' '', -1, -1, true);">Enrol Now to Learn from The Experts.</button>

I'm not a javascript expert now, maybe an error occurred while uploading and required javascript code is missing.

Thanks Daniel, I think all my issues perhaps relate back to my "You must activate Javascript" issue. As I have contacted my website provider they can't see any workaround with the Javascript. I am now looking at 2 different options:

  1. using the webspace that I have been provided with and configure my domain to lead to it.
  2. using the wordpress provided as part of my domain webhosting package instead of  X5 Evo.

So I am investigating these, thank you and everyone else for their assistance in this matter.

I suspect that the problem begins with the "URL of the website" and "Target directory" specification.

If these two statements are correct, then perhaps the directory in which the index.html of the homepage is located should be deleted, perhaps not deleting the .htaccess file.

Then upload the complete website created with WebSite X5 so that no old files are left. Possibly empty the browser cache and then call up and test the website in the browser.

Website X5 usually also works on cheap web hosting packages, at least for me with the German hosting providers Strato (my brother's website) and Hosteurope (my website and test websites).
