Editing Languages

In the new version of X5, the shopping page allows for a customer to place an order and not pay. So we have to get back to them and tell them to pay so that we can ship....
We need to be able to require payment in order to enter an order, which is the normal procedure for on-line orders in the US.
So I checked language.xml, and found that there were messages in there that I could change to at least tell customers that we wouldn't ship until they paid. I changed appropriate mesages, but then could not save the file with Notepad.
What do I have to do to change this file?

Hello Dave,
You don't have to change languages.xml because the software will overwrite it at the first run.
You have to go to step 1 and click on the small icon near the language option of your site. The language editor window will pop up and there you'll be able to customize your localizations.
