I suggest you to look on alternative approaches to the project.

One way could be to use the blog instead of the shopping.

A maybe better presentation is to place the restaurants on a map and then for each pin give information information.

Shift between map-view and list-view. Imagine that every marker is a restaurant and that the image used is the logo for the restaurant. Or an image of the restaurant.

The map can be set up so both free-text search can be used and also structured search.

The markers can be selected slso by drawing a circle on the map.

The text for each marker can contain html, so for each marker/restauran a link can be made to a page in your project and/or a link to the restaurants own website. The map is free.

The map is easy to install, setup and maintain.
