In the pricing comparison list between Evo and Pro under Mobile optimization (Advanced), Pro has "Autodetect browser resolution". So how does this differ from Evo and what does it do? THANKS

I don't remember if it's still possible, but maybe you can download the demo and evaluate for yourself

Hi Donald,

the advanced features of the Mobile optimization, which you can see by hovering the mouse on the "i" icon, are the possibility of managing up to 10 breakpoints, the page layout contol for all breakpoints, the autodetect browser resolution feature, on top of what's already available for the Evo, of course.

Please let me know if I can be of any further help.

Thanks for all the guessing. But what does autodetect browser resolution feature do?

"maybe, due to the number of the breakpoints ..." That's listed seperately.

"maybe you can download the demo and evaluate for yourself" I've had the Pro version for several years.

"the advanced features of the Mobile optimization, which you can see by hovering the mouse on the "i" icon" Yes, I know or I would not have seen "autodetect browser resolution".

Once again, what does the autodetect browser resolution feature do and how does this differ from Evo?

Or is it just a marketing scheme to help sell Pro over Evo. Someone does know the answer.

The weekend is almost here, have a great one!

Maybe Incomedia will explain whether this extra function even exists, otherwise Incomedia should remove this point.

Typically, all versions of WebSiteX5 create CSS files with @media directives to automatically adapt pages to different browser window widths, even the cheapest (sometimes freely available) version of Go.

personal opinion...
but from the point of view of graphical rendering, the substantial difference comes from the usable number of breakpoints, which allow you better handling at as many as 10 different resolutions... the Evo is more limited in that respect having only 3 breapoints.

and then there's a lot of features that can make a difference--obviously, if you need them....
dynamic object
automatic user registration
tab slides in the text object
etc...

@Claudio D.: To the linked instructions.

I think that these three selections on the intro page are a relic of antiquity and are hardly relevant today.

Who still creates 3 different versions (desktop, tablet and smartphone) of the website today?

This is now done automatically by all WebSiteX5 versions via CSS and @media.

hello Daniel, I never said that this is an important feature...; also in my opinion , nowadays, it makes little sense to have separate sites for devices, not to mention the extra work it requires to manage separate projects ; I only answered the question of  Donald.

Bye.

For my opinion, 10 breakopints resolution is too little... Function strech function works properly on resolutions higher than 2.7 k... I hope they will fix it if not, it doesn't matter, anyway Incomedia has its own mind...
