Search engine to the Help Center is not suitable and useful  en

Hello Incomedia,

the search engine on the Help Center is not really useful. We need to use keywords to do a search... but many, many users does not use keywords when they post an article.

So impossible to search something.
Should be better if an advanced search window should be available to search inside the text of the post and replies. May be more longer to find, but more accurate too.

In fact a goggle search engin to find any article.

It's the same usage for a user. When I try to find myself inside my posts, there is no option to do that. So the finding is global and not just to MY POSTS.

Of course, the quality of the keywords entered depends on the input of the respective user. Apparently it is not clear to them that if keywords are entered correctly, one or more solutions will already be offered.

In my opinion, the search engine in the help center also searches the text of the posts. Enter the text

search window

and click on search the phrase and exactly this post will be found even though this text is not in the keywords.

Ok, I see that the link does not work but the search works anyway. You have to check the option 'Search the phrase' and not the option 'Search any words'.

When looking for help with problems with WebSiteX5, it is better to take a detour via the major search engines and use the hits for helpcenter.websitex5.com and guide.websitex5.com, but avoid help.websitex5.com.

@Franz-Josef

Searching by sentence is not comfortable. So the best is to search by any word inside the post and not only into the keywords.

And in this case it does not works.

@Daniel,

The best should be to have searching through this forum... search field exists, why to re-invent the wheel with other engines.
