Hello Laura,
I am sorry about the issue.
What is the URL of the website affected by this?

I have currently set the old paypal paying method which shows (deprecated) in brackets, but I wanted to set the Paypal commerce platform which is more recent. I link the account and everithing seems fine but when I upload the site the botton does not show. I noticed that before the last update there was not this issue.

Hello Laura,
could you please also add the PayPal Commerce Platform again, for example renaming it as "Test" so that actual customers use the other method that does work?
This way I would be able to make some test orders and inspect the website during the checkout process to find out what errors may be occurring.

Hello Laura,
on both versions I currently only see the previous PayPal payment method, have you changed it back?
Unfortunately I was not available on friday and could not run tests on that day, so if you have removed it again I would ask you to leave it there for a couple of days.

Hello Eric, yes I changed it back. In a few minutes, I will add the Test payment (with the new paypal) to the English website again and I will leave it so you can test it. Thank you

Hello Laura,
from what I can see the error is due to something not working correctly in terms of redirection, as a resource on a http URL (which is considered unsafe) is being requested, and this request is blocked.
What is the URL that you are using in Step 5 - Export? Inspecting the page, it seems it is with http.
If so, I would suggest changing it to https.

Hello Laura,
on this version of the website the error appearing seems to be of a different kind, related to PayPal's library.
I recommend repeating the onboarding for PayPal with these steps:

1) Remove the PayPal Commerce Platform payment method.
2) Close WebSite X5.
3) Delete the folder named "browsercache" at the path C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Pro.
4) Reopen WebSite X5 and add PayPal Commerce Platform again. After completing the procedure, click the settings button and check select the relevant options (in this case you can just add Credit cards for now).
5) Export all website files.

If the issue persists, I would suggest contacting PayPal's technical support, you could provide them with these screenshots as reference and mention that it seems to be an error with PayPal's library.

Thank you Eric

I tried to do as you suggested, but the button won't upload (I get the loading dots but the button does not appear). I will try to contact PayPal's technical support.

Thank you again

It is solved. I updated windows and cleared chronology and cache of browsers and repeated the steps 1 to 5 recommended above a few times.
