A bit confusing, what does this have to do with PHP?

Is there a URL to view?

Does the page exist on your map (step 3)?

If it does (and you can open it) then you may have added an object that requires the page to be PHP instead of html?

Sorry maybe I didnt explain myself very well.

I have not long updated to your newest version. I opened up the program like usual and worked on a new page over a couple of days. I saved the work and previewed as I went along. I also uploaded the page to godaddy.

When I came to reopen the programme to continue my work the page has dissapeared! So to answer your question, no its not on the map anymore???

To note, Everytime I open up the programme it asks me to make a duplicate copy. I now have 7 copies all of which do not have the newly made page???

Is there a way to at least find the page somewhere so I can copy the text i created as its day and days of work.

I thought I would access the page on Godaddy but when i looked there wasnt a html file but a php file only?? Dont know what this means !!

Thanks for the help,

Andrew

Hello Andrew,
if the software is asking you to create a duplicate copy, are you sure that you are not opening a previous version of the project coming from an older version, or one of the copies?
Usually that warning appears when trying to open a project from that start screen that was created/last updated with a previous version.
Regarding Godaddy, what you are referring to exactly? Are you expecting to see the .html file for that page, but instead see the .php one? If so, it may be that you have placed objects on the page that require PHP to be used.

What I am saying is that I created a webpage saved it uploaded it. This page was on the map when I closed the program. When I opened it, it was gone??

When I checked Godaddy to see if the page was there, It was only there as a php file not a html file like the other pages get uploaded as??

So my question is there a way to retrieve this page from website x5 ?

Thanks for the help,

Andrew

Hello Andrew,
could you please post a screenshot of your WebSite X5 starting screen?
I would like to check how the projects are displayed.
The fact that it is a php file, as I mentioned, is not necessarily an anomaly, it depends on what objects are placed in the page.

Hello,
it would seem that the project has been copied several times, but if the page cannot be found in any of them, either an error occurred during the save process, or the project that did contain it was accidentally deleted.
Are you able which of the project folders for this project is the most recent one at the path C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Incomedia\WebSite X5 - Pro ?
