I have been using Website X5 Pro successfully for a while now, and up to last month I was updating my website's information monthly and uploading it. Now, when trying to do the same thing, I get the attached generic error message. Clicking on updates I am told that I have the latest version. I have not altered any settings.
I urgently need to be able to update my website for my work, would appreciate if someone can help get me functional again please!

Hello Christopher,
is your provider One.com?

Yes Eric it is. I connected with them but so far didnt get anywhere, although our chat was interrupted.
Hello Christopher,
we had other users with One.com report this, so I suspect that something in how the FTP connection towards their server is managed has changed, and is now causing conflicts with the software.
I recommend trying to get in touch with them, in the meantime could you provide me with a copy of the project so that I can investigate more closely?
You can export it in Step 5 - Export, choosing the Export the project option to generate an IWZIP file.
You can then upload the file with WeTransfer.com or similar services, and provide a download link at sales @ incomedia.eu (without the spaces).
Thank you.

Good to know Eric, thank you I'll do that.
Hello Christopher,
I have attempted an export in a subfolder created for this purpose, so as not to influence anything inside of the main website folder, and did not encounter the same error, only a non-blocking warning about MySQL settings, and the export was completed.
I tested this using a more recent version of WebSite X5 than yours, however some users who have reported this have the latest version, so I suspect that the cause is more likely something local, like the PC or the network used.
Could you check what your exact version of Windows is?
You can check this by opening the Command Prompt on your computer, then typing winver in it and pressing Enter.
A window should pop-up with information about the version.
Thank you.

Update: my website is now working, perhaps the provider adjusted those settings, but thanks for your help and interest.
