I have realize that if I designe a new site using a previous one, eventhough I change pictures, files, and so on, the old ones do remain. I tried to delete the old files not used in the new site, but every time I try to upload they reapear and that information is not for any use in the new site and is consuming space. How can I make it desappear from my computer?

Marta....

I guess you are making changes then uploading and finding your "OLD" images still there?

If ever you create a "NEW" website before you upload DELETE the "OLD" files off the server first!!!

Then do a "FULL" upload of your new project.....

Thank you Frank. My problem is quite more complicated :(.

I have made what we could say an "standard" site for my books. That stadard site is the one I use to create new pages of new books that will be uploaded like subdomains of the principal.I change the name of the project and all the things that change from one book to another (texts, template, images...) and the path to upload.

Even If I delete from the new named project the old staff it remains there (in my computer). For instance, I change images and delete the old ones from the new project file. And it seems like they have desappeared. But when I try to upload this new project I find two problems:

First, all the old images are back in the images file of my computer.

Second, I cannot upload directly with the uploading device of X5. I have to go through Filezilla to pass it all from my computer to the ftp. (See my other question about uploading subdomains; I included a screenshot)
