Admin panel for e-commerce  en

Hello now I have an order for an online shop coming to me and I am afraid to do it on your system as I don't think it is safe and convenient, if I am wrong then convince me otherwise.

I have an order for a local small manufacturer of pizza and other baked goods, I have been asked to make a site for pizza and other products, they are not so many, but what should I give them in terms of management? They can not add goods themselves without the programme. And another question in order management, I can not give them your system because if they go to the control panel they will see there is not optimised panel, icons. which sometimes jump on each other, everything looks like a child's constructor, how do I change the design of the panel to make it more strictly for business?

the second question is about local delivery and usability of the interface, the buttons are small in the panel can they be made bigger and how? if anyone has redesigned or expanded the functionality of their control panel show me examples?

I attach screenshots below and want the administration to answer this is a normal operation for the shop?

1) why is there no menu opening icon on the black theme?

2) - how to make the button not as flat and awkward as it is now?

3) why is the font blue? and how can i change it to make them look different? the icons are just illegible together.

the lettering at the top is VERY BIG  how to change the font and size?

3.1 how to make the order number to be only numbers?

4) again the menu is not visible on the left corner!

Where is the order time?

There are no letters on the left side, just ??????.

Hello,
unfortunately currently there are no customization options within the software about the Admin panel, except for a theme color.
I will report your suggestions.

So you think you can do it yourself in the code? Honestly, I don't understand if nobody cares about the inner panel, or am I the only one so capricious!

My friendly advice: when doing webshops, any kind of webshop, save yourself lots of headaches and do this with WP & WooCommerce.

Hi, I understand you, already seriously thinking about it too, but I don't like the fact that this programme is flexible in setting up everything. Is it so difficult to solve a lot of payment systems connected let them sit down and just devote more time to it and that's it. and just make a normal panel for me, for example, would be enough).

I mean, on the contrary, I like that the program is flexible and gives me full control to do what I want, I can make a website, a blog and sell goods.

Eric, how can you write about the blog, https://www.websitex5.com/en/resources/blog/?ecommerce-discounts-promotions

Knowing that your system is not intended for sales, and technically it still looks very incomplete and even the internal panel does not work properly! I'm now using the beta version of PRO, do at least something to improve e-commerce and blog.

I agree, X5 is not the best for a bakery online B2C store with a cart. Your customer will not be able to modify anything themselves.

WebSite X5 is a fun program to easily and quickly set up a website in your own management. When it comes to a webshop with the more well-known payment options, you can better look for e.g. WordPress with WooCommerce or a Webshop maker such as Wix.

Hello,

Doable ? yes and no ?

Yes because we can change CSS code into these pages....BUT
These pages are not editable through the software. They are like harcoded by Incomedia and systematically exported. So not posibble to add code or change something because these pages are not into the interface even into special pages !!!!

So you can change some css file into preview\admin\css but these files are automatically generated by the software. So during export and full re-construction of the project these files are re-generated again. And so files on the website are systematically rewritten by these regenerated files.

So you will loose any modification during export. yell
And other thing, if Incomedia do some changes inside these files for next version, you will need to reconfigure files at each time.foot-in-mouth

So for me not really comfortable to do that.
Agree with you. It's a pity do not offer a way by the GUI to change appearance. in 10 yrs may be tongue-out

Hope to be clear.

Axel

Thank you axel for such work, it's all very sad that they just can't add the ability to customize everything, it's so simple, why don't they do it on purpose? They consciously keep the program in a terrible state! It seems to me that it's time to laugh seriously about it, this one is like movie blups in the movies, there's a scene, and the hero with a wet head in the next frame is already bald
