How do I create background outside of webpage?

I have just transferred my website to version 9 and uploaded it to my server. Everything is fine with the website but the surrounding screen background consists of repeated cross hatched boxes stating that there is an image generation error. Can anyone tell me how to correct this. How do I create a background outside of the website area? Thanks for any help.

Make sure it's correct in your X5 preview before upload... Check the Custom Template again and make sure the background image has the correct path....
Without screenshots etc.... we can only guesstimate as to the real cause!!
