Hello Alpha A.,
there is no such "option" in the software which allows you to delete the name of WebSite X5.
What you can do is to edit your site using an external editor and remove all those metatags. But the next time you export the site, you'll have to delete them again and again.
kind regards,
Lisa
I don't understand what the problem is. You can deliver x5 as a CMS software for your clients, and teach them to use it.

well if i teach them how to use it, how am i going to run my business....?
You charge for your time. Then set up their template, and then deliver the CMS. (X5)
i agree totally with Alpha A, i already lost 2 customers becouse of this... Since the objective of this software is for us to make websites professionaly there should be a option to rip off that meta tagg inside the software. about the script there is no reason to remove it since its X5's codding and deserves the credits. and like you say Lisa yea we can remove by using an external editor but everytime we upload it to our host we will have the same problem over and over wich is an inconvenience for us customers of website x5.I believe i speak for many followers AKA customers of X5 please add a way in the software for us to remove those meta tags. Hope to hear from you Lisa or anybody else behind X5.
No answer at all?
I would like this to be removed as well. What I do to prevent it is I enable the HTML Code Protection, On each website...
Can you tell me what "software" is the one I need to do this?
Thanks.
Hello Jorge L.,
unfortunately I do not know which programm you can use to edit your side.
kind regards,
Lisa
you can use notepad... or notepad++ but dont you understand that everythime you edit your website by software(x5) your codding will have the tag's again and you will have to repeat over and over again the removing tags part... Lisa.F how come you dont answer us ? We would like to know it there is going to have a debate betwin yourselfs ( incromedia) about this situation, could you atleast tell us anything?
Hello Holytemplar B.,
