Resetting the site url

Somewhere is stored the website URL in a prior project I want to utilise for a new website address.
I cannot locate where to change it as it crops up when uploading, and it is set and unchangeable in some of the fields... so where do I change the default URL for the site.?

in settings it is set in the admin section and unchangeable when developing the site

So am assuming it is set in the admin section from the prior url, and will be reset when I change the url at upload then...
Cheers anyway, will check after upload..
