I Have Lost The File To My Website. Can I Recover It By Reverse Ftp  en

I need to recover my website after the drive that it was on was damaged and wont work anymore. Is it possibel to import the website from the server it is hosted on. Please help

Hallo,

unfortunately it's not possible to recover the project files from an already existing Internet website. This is because when you export and publish the project online, all the data are converted irreversible in HTML codes.

The only way to use the same material is to copy/paste all the images and texts from the Internet.

We always suggest you to create regolarly different backup copies of your projects.

There should be a way to automaticly upload the project files and iwsp file to a folder on your server when uploading all the other files. I had the same problem, had to create a site with over 200 pages one more time, by copy paste everything. What i am doing now, instead of creating backup is to use DropBox (www.dropbox.com) This way your files will always be updated and safe on a server if something happens, it's also a good idea when creating collaborative sites on different computers. Hope this helps you in the future
