Hi. I have recently upgraded to Evo 2026.2.5 from V13 and exported my site from V13 and attempted in import it in the new version. It begins to import then comes up with the error:
"An error occured while loading the Project. [Object reference not set to an instance of an object]"
There is no fault number or reference. See attached image of the fault.
Unsure where to find this fault in the origional build. The project still uploads into V13 and can be published with no issues.
A Goolge search suggests its a coding error with .NET or C# so not very helpful

Hello Craig,
I am sorry about the issue, this error can occur with conversion with a large gap between versions.
I would request a copy of the project so that I can convert it more gradually into v2026.
You can export it in Step 5 - Export, choosing the “Export the project” option to generate an IWZIP file, making sure not to use the options to include backup and preview files so that the size of the file is reduced.
You can then upload the file with SwissTransfer, TransferNow or similar services, and provide a download link to support @ incomedia.eu (without the spaces).
Thank you.

Thanks Eric. Emailed link to you now with the transfer file. Thanks.
Hello Craig,
I replied with the download link of the converted project.
I remain available.

Hi Eric. I spoke too soon. I've discovered an issue on two pages, where I have set up forms. When I put my mouse over the "Send" button at the bottom of the form, it doesnt register there is a button to press, therefore I cant press it, so it wont send the form. I've been working on this for the past couple of days trying a number of changes but with all off them, pressing the "send" button is not able to be done. Can you advise?
Try clicking "Preview" at the top of WebSite X5 while holding down the left Ctrl key, and then wait until the preview has fully loaded. This will rebuild the pages.
Perform a complete export of the website to the internet, not just the updated files.
Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F5 in your browser to load the new files from the web server and avoid using files from the browser cache.
If it still doesn't work, wait for the Incomedia team to respond starting Monday.
Other users might have some further suggestions.

Thanks Daniel, I have tried all of that. It's as if the send button isnt being recognised. On the former version of software, after the sites was live, putting the mouse over the send button changed the mouse cursor to indicate it could be pressed. It doesnt do that this time and clicking does nothing. I also notice that in the revious version, next to the Send button was a reset button for the form. The new version doesn seem to have this reset button. Unsure if that is relevent to the issue though.
I don't currently have an Evo version to test.
With the current Pro version 2026.2.5, I'm not experiencing any issues with the contact form in my demo shop; see link.
