Morning people.

I am trying to install website X5 Smart 9 that came with PCPRO magazine.

I am trying to install it on a standalone machine with no connection to the Internet, and having looked round the site i cannot work out how to convert my serial number to provide an unlock code.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, no response so far, so I post what I have managed to find.

When you have registered online and received your Licence key, enter it into the activation dialog box along with your email address.
Click Next
Click Next again to be taken to the "offline Manual Activation" section
Click Save Instructions
Go to where the instructions were saved (as a html file)
Open the file
Within the file/page there is a long URL, cut and paste this into an active browser
This should, theoretically, then provide you with the information required to manually unlock your installation - However this did not work for me and I got a response that told me I had a generic error!

I hope that someone can advise how to resolve this?

Many thanks for the reply.

I have as of yesterday followed the procedure as explained in the link and sent a private problem post, looking forward to resolving the issue and trying out the software.
