Importing Product weight in CSV file

I want to maintain and import products using the CSV file import facilty.
An important requirement is that we calculate delivery costs based on weight.
However there does not seem to be a WEIGHT field in the CSV file format to do this.
Advice please.

You can set a weight column into the CSV file and specify the value of the weight for each product. In the current beta version is already available the updated guide for this feature and will be available in the next stable release.

When do you anticipate the stable release of the version containing this facility?
When and where will I find documentation on the revised CSV file format?
Will it include other fields i.e. The associated image file link?
We just released the update for the stable 9.0.12.1873.
