With the first atempt I had version 4 of .net but so I unintalled this rebootet my computer and installed .net 3.5. But I still got the message from Win 7 that "WebsiteX5 register stopped working" According to the FAQ my computer is compatible.

I'm very frustrating because of your lack of support. I bought WebSite X5 Evolution 9 on 19th May. I'v not able to install it on my PC yet and I've asked two questions on the sides You call support. The only answer I've got there where some links to older posts - which I already have read.

Here Are what I've done so far.

The PC i've tried to install this program on : Dell XPS 1545 core i7  8 gB ram Win 7 HE with latest updates.

I tried first to install the program straight away but after all files where copied and the most of the installation process seems to be finished windows reported that "WebsiteX5 register stopped working". When I tried to start the program i got the message " An error ocured while running the program. Please reinstall the program.".

After that I began to read what you call support and I discovered that this program have big trouble withFrameWork.NET ver 4 - which I have installed on my PC.
So I unistalled it restarted the PC and installed ver 3.5, disabled both anti virus, FW. But the same take place.

So now I want an straight answer of "can I got any dissent support so I can get these program working on the PC ? else I want my money back. On This Pc I've installed a lot of program. This is the first program that wouldn't work on this PC

I think you have problems with your framework. The program needs it to work correctly. Are you trying to install from CD or are you downloading the program from answers?
Please download it from the following link http://static.incomedia.eu/websitex5.com/v9/wsx5_ev.exe so that you have the latest version immediately then make sure you are using it as administrator (right click on the program icon and select -run as administrator-).

Before doing this, please follow this procedure in order to fix your framework:

1. After you have removed every version of .NET from your computer, you have to use this tool called .NET FX Cleanup:http://cid-27e6a35d1a492af7.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Blog_Tools/dotnetfx_cleanup_tool.zip
2. Please install your framework .NET 3.5 by downloading it from the following file:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/it-it/details.aspx?FamilyID=d0e5dea7-ac26-4ad7-b68c-fe5076bba986&DisplayLang=it

1. Uninstalled farmework

2. ran the cleantool

3. Innstalled framwork from this link ( in norwegian not italian) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/it-it/details.aspx?FamilyID=d0e5dea7-ac26-4ad7-b68c-fe5076bba986&DisplayLang=it

4. restarted the pc

5. Disabled antivitus and FW

6. Installed  the website X5 from this file: http://static.incomedia.eu/websitex5.com/v9/wsx5_ev.exe Ran as admin.

The same thing happens. WebsiteX5 register stopped working

thank you for trying! Could you please kindly give me the file you will find in your WebSite X5 program folder, that is called ''imRegister.log''? You can attach it to this post. I will then test it.
