is the Shopping Cart (product catalogue) sort order defaulted to alphabetic order... if it is it shouldn't!... Anyone know how I can sort this or reload it in the same order as my CSV file?

Dear Barry,
I'm sorry but it is not possible to change the order of your products in the product catalogue. WebSite X5 organizes them automatically. What you can do, is create several categories and devide your products.
Hope this helps!

But that is my question... why does X5 sort them automatically? If people need to sort their products surely they could do it externally in a spreadsheet, and this is made even easier now that you have an export function.
I guess this is just another frustrating aspect of X5 - forcing users to abide by rules set by Incomedia, when there is quite clearly no need to impose such a rule.
There are many good aspects to X5... this isn't one of them.
Dear Barry,
they have added this function because it becomes easier for you to find a product if they are placed in alphabetical order. As I wrote in the previews post you can create categories and place your products as you wish, they will then be saved according to your needs. Or else, you can open the catalogue with Microsoft excel and change their order with it.
