Too Many Problems creating doubts about x5 vr 9

I am on x5 vr. 8 and have been waiting to upgrade to vr. 9 but there seems to be many problems and so many updates as if someone is struggling to get it right. I have a laptop computer with Windows Vistawhich vr 8 works fine on. I understand that Vr. 9 has problems with Vista. I also have a Windows 7 professional 64bit and I understand Vr 9 has problems with that too. What Gives Here? This is not very good to feel that we may have to switch programs. Someone please shed some light on this issue .

every software house releases automatically updates of their software. They aren't always fixes, we improve functions and add them as well.
Evo 9 does not have problems with vista, here is a F.A.Q. with its system requirements: http://answers.websitex5.com/post/23835
You have to have framework 3.5 on your computer and at least IE 8 with flash up to date on it.
