Saving project has become slow  en

It seems to be taking longer and loner to save my project.

I realise that the project gets bigger over time, but this seems to be happening since the latest version upgrade.

Has any one any suggestions as to how I can speed this process up... I've tried clearing the cache but that hasn't made any difference.

Is anyone else  experiencing this problem... or have any thoughts on the matter?

Hello Barry,

I guess this could depend on the number of pages / content you have in your site that is growing over time but also could be related with your operating system that si becoming slowly for other reasons not related with the software.

As far as I now this problem shouldn't be related with the last release of WebsiteX5, thank you for asking

It seems to me that everytime I do something in the Shopping Cart.. add new product/change price causes the save process to slow down.

In the previous release I think I downloaded a beta version of x5cartengine.... do I need to do that again?

Hello Barry,

May I ask you how many products do you have in your shopping cart? Probably if you have a large number of items that's why it take so much time to upload. You can try to set a different number of simultaneous connection in the FTP parameters on step 5 but I'm not sure it will help.

I can tell you that I'm sure that this behaviour is not related with the file x5cartengine in any way.

Thank you for asking

I currently have 2000+ products.

It's not the upload that is slow but the saving of the project.

It seems to get to between 50 and 75% saved then stops for maybe a minute... its doing it now while I type this :)

Hi Barry,

yes you're right, I meant the saving process instead of the uploading one.

Anyway, if you have so many products it's possible that the process is relatively slow, depending also on other factor than WebsiteX5.

Thank you
