Guestbook Comments Problems

I created a guestbook, credated a new guestbook directory before any comments were added and made CMOD to 777.
I added a new guestbook with the option to automatically display the comment en with a notification per e-mail.
The guestbook appears properly on the website, but i cannot make a comment. The comment doesn't appear on the website ???
The guestbook does not create a new file within the directory.
I do receive an e-mail telling I have received a new comment.
I have done it several times, but it does not function !!
What is the problem ?

If its the blog please read manual page 143 to 151 and the info provided by Incomedia (attached)
Its also very easy to use the SEARCH with forum - so you would have find this

We mean the HTML and Widgets -> Guestbook and not the Blog.

Untill now we have not made any content, because we first tried to make a proper questbook. For our visitors a good guestbook is most important.

go in your admin panel :www.zfc6.nl/Admin
in the Guestbook section check that the folder of the comments is correct and with the 777 permission.
