I have created the site using X5 v9 with a contact us form but cant submit because my hosting company does not support the commands used to send as they feel it compromise security and increase spam. The only way I can send is to authenticate, how would I change my mail form to use authentication using my own mail account?

You authenticate by using the Captcha located inside of the Email Form or use the Check Word!!

Hosting provider dont have open relays to send mail so the GET function is not suported. Problem is not with the Captcha
X5 V9 is using POST by default not GET!! Sounds like you have no PHP. Your server is a Microsoft-IIS/6.0 that you are using for your own website. You are better off using Linux for X5 not a Windows server!!
I see you're a computer company in South Africa! And you don't understand the principle functions of a server??
To remedy your situation use an online email form within your website.... or better still move to a REPUTABLE hosting company!!
Hi there. I have the need to get that contact form working and i was hoping for some advice on how to check if it is the server that is the problem.
Thanks
