Ready to upload Vr.8 to Vr.9 site but SCARED

I finally upgraded my site from Vr.8 to Vr.9 I want to upload the new Vr.9 site and am Quite Nervous. SCARED! Can someone hold my hand through this transition?
1- What do I need to check for before uploading the new site? Details please.
2- Do I need to delete my old Vr.8 site from my host before uploading the new Vr.9 site? WILL THIS AFFECT MY "SEO" in any way?
3- If someone can give me a checklist with step by step procedures it will be greatly apreciated.

No don't be scared...
it is quite easy actually! I will try to be as clear as possible:
1_ We have prepared tips&Tricks on this procedure so that you may follow it step by step and make sure you have set everything correctly.

2_Youcan either overwrite your Evo 8 project with your new Evo 9 or cancel it then upload your new Evo 9 project. Do as you please.
